Ready to take your career to the next level? The Certified Payments and Fraud Prevention Professional (CPFPP) Guided Prep Program takes you through a structured program of eLearning, virtual workshops, and self-directed study that culminates in the CPFPP certification exam.

 

What to Expect in the CPFPP Guided Prep Program

 
  1. Start with Essentials
    Kick off your journey by completing our Payment Essentials and Fraud Essentials eLearning courses. These foundational courses lay the groundwork for advanced learning and provide a strong base for the CPFPP certification. (Recommended to complete in advance of the workshop).
  2. Virtual Workshop
    Join us for two live, half-day virtual workshops, where industry experts will cover key exam topics in performance management, operational management, provider management, and features and enhancements.
  3. Personalized Study Plan & Resources
    Following the workshop, you’ll receive a schedule to help you stay on track. We’ll also equip you with digital flashcards to reinforce key concepts and invite you to a dedicated Slack study group for peer and expert support.
  4. Extended eLearning Access
    Take advantage of 3 months of eLearning access to over 20+ hours of additional content. Use this time to refine your understanding and dive deeper into specialized topics at your own pace.
  5. Live Q&A with Certified Experts
     Attend live Q&A sessions where CPFPP-certified experts will answer your burning questions and guide you through challenging topics.
  6. CPFPP Exam
    Your enrollment includes the CPFPP application fee, ensuring that you're able to take the final step towards certification. The final deadline to complete the exam is 28 February 2026.

MRC Education Accreditation

The Merchant Risk Council is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: nasbaregistry.org

MRC Education Refund Policy

MRC Education eLearning course refunds and cancellations are determined on a case-by-case basis. Cancellations and requests for refunds must be communicated in writing to programs@merchantriskcouncil.org. Refunds will not be issued once a course is started. Additionally, courses must be completed within one year of the course enrollment date.
